3/15/2024 0 Comments Driver kensington expert mouse![]() ![]() I've been online gaming for 8 years and ever job I've had in the past 12 was computer intensive. I'll always keep these for backups because I can't imagine ever using a traditional mouse again. I've still got 2 of the original white ones left, and the gray one with the blue ball. I will never not use a version of this trackball. Overall Review: I bought this locally at a retailer for $110 when the deal came up on an email I snagged up on a 2nd. ![]() The glides this thing rides on will break, as much mousing as I do there's no doubt in my mind it won't but they're not made to last forever. Perhaps break it in too while watching a movie. The first one did finally lose the sound but the scroll wheel itself is great if you can overlook the noise for a while. The action is silky compared to past models but note it doesn't glide when you first purchase it, take it out of the box, set it next to you while you're watching a movie and move the ball around in several hundred rotations, it becomes very slick after about 20 minutes of this.Ĭons: The scroll wheel was notably scratchy on the first one of this model I bought, not so much on the 2nd one. Past versions you had to take the unit apart and carefully clean all the dust out, this one is laser on ball. Pop the ball out and just pluck the dust balls out and it's perfect again. Pros: I've owned almost every version of the expert mouse, the ease of cleaning this one makes it a superstar. ![]()
